What is the longest amount of time missed from treatments before you started to get sick?

Can anyone tell me an easy way to get rid of access itching and hurting without drugs?

Dialysis blues

My name is Jennifer. I have been a dialysis patient for oover three years now. It never seems to get any easier. I don't really expect it to.
I have had 6 access', so far. I currently have a graft in my right arm.
It has caused me a little trouble since I got it two years ago. I had to have it almost completely redone, after only one year. It causes me some problems now; itching, pain, swelling.
I just wanted to know if anyone else can share secrets they have on how to deal with living with dialysis? Is there a Veteran or a rookie who can share their stories with me? Maybe listen to a few of mine?
